America needs to wake up and discover that Walmart is not friendly to the interests of America. But America seems to like cheap crap too much.
Thank you for your comment...Walmart has destroyed middle-class, small-town America by putting local merchants out of business, closing down family-owned manufacturers who can’t compete with slave labor factories in China, and depopulated downtown squares where mom and pop property owners now have empty, deteriorating storefronts. Talk about a company that needs to be boycotted!!! I do and have for many years...
When the poor materiel/construction quality is factored in and that things made in the USA are only marginally more expensive to produce ( 2-3% more at retail ), supply chains measured in thousands of miles the consumer is not really getting a good deal CONSIDERING ALL OF THE UNEMPLOYMENT CAUSED BY OFFSHORING. People would rather work then buy cheap sh!t at Walmart on public assistance.
We need a tariff and we need it NOW!
