I am so sorry about your family issue. If you read the 100+ posts, you saw mine where an aunt betrayed her mother/my husband’s grandmother and basically broke all ties once she got what $he wanted. It’s heartbreaking. My husband passed away 2 years ago unexpectedly, but thankfully we both got to the point we realized it was better we lost a lot of inheritance than be the type of person auntie was who found $$ more important than anything in life. How sad it is. Peace to you and yours FR friend :)

I did see your post, and I sympathize. A betrayal from within can leave you saddened for a long time. Sounds like you made a rational and mature choice to keep moving on and leave your in-law’s dastardly greed in the past. Hope you continue to feel better and better. Money comes with its own set of problems.
