The NFL is a culture-cleansing disaster area.
Same with the NCAA, Nooscar, and the NBA.
It won’t stop until fans disappear.
For several years before the advent of the Internet rendered paper publications obsolete, I subscribed to the Sporting News. However, even as early as the late 1980s the contributing columnists were espousing social justice issues through the lens of sportswriting. And that was when I was done and let the subscription lapse.
Sport Illustrated had gone that same route a few years earlier.
The NBA might survive, but how many NFL fans want to be constantly accused of racism?
Some fans will disappear, but fans need an alternative also. For example, the internet released millions of conservatives from having to read their local, Buffett owned leftist rags for news.
The XFL owners probably kicking themselves for folding due to Covid-19. They would benefit bigly.
