The value of Greyhound Lines Inc., the intercity bus service company, has seen a drop in its value as a result of reductions to illegal immigration at the United States-Mexico border.
Executives with Greyhound’s parent company, FirstGroup, told MarketWatch their value has dropped by about $156 million because of less migration across the southern border.
As Breitbart News has reported, President Trump’s administration released tens of thousands of border crossers and illegal aliens into the U.S. every month. Those foreign nationals would board Greyhound buses to travel to the interior of the country.
Today, though, thanks to the Remain in Mexico policy, other agreements with Central America, and the Center for Disease Control’s Title 42 order, the mass catch and release of border crossers and illegal aliens has been drastically reduced.
FirstGroup’s Ryan Mangold said that reduction in mass migration into the U.S. has cut Greyhound’s value:
“At the back end of 2019 into the start of 2020, the immigration flows coming out of Mexico into the U.S. were incredibly strong,” said Ryan Mangold. FirstGroup’s financial year ends in March.

The Greyhound station in Tucson is basically Nogales Norte, the smugglers just pulled up and dumped 50-60 people at a time, no one there to stop them. If you yelled “la migra!” it would cause a stampede.
Greyhound was more then happy to take the cash.
Pobrecitos.

Haven’t ridden the dog in nearly 50 years, thankfully.
People I heard on talk radio called in last year to say they saw and learned of hundreds and hundreds of “new arrival” illegals in their states far from Texas and California. Once over the border, buses took them to MS,GA,VA,LA,SC and also MN and other states. This may tip areas to the Dem side in voting.
Thanks, Greyhound, for letting illegals take the bus and leave the misery to us.
In the mid-50s, I remember when a Greyhound Bus trip was kind of fun.
Greyhound continues to cut long-distance routes in favor of “interlining” with Amtrak, without insuring that Amtrak will act only as a subcontractor, not acting as an agency of the surveillance state.

Routes open to undocumented travelers between other places in the US could cease to exist at all.

The undocumented, or travelers with warrants are rattled and finding other ways to travel.
The flood has slowed, we still have 30+ million illegal aliens here.
Years ago, we used to watch the buses stop at a certain convenience store in Temple, TX off I-35. It was a steady stream of illegals and not one BP agent anywhere in sight.
But all of the prisoner releases due to the cooties should make up for it.
