This is appalling. My father worked for Ford for 30 years and if you even so much as drove a non-Ford car onto the lot you'd get a severe reprimand, if not worse.
Now we have disgruntled employees telling management how to run their business, and getting away with it.
Shame on Ford for caving to these malcontents.
