Republicans Sue, Censure Gov. Abbott Over Ongoing Restrictive Executive Orders

I do take the virus seriously... but no more seriously then I take the other influenza virus strains every flu season I’m at risk from. We will always be challenged by a perpetual ongoing endemic from many pathogens EVERY year, EVERY day.

I take MY LIFE seriously and all the things I can’t change and all the things I can to avoid an early death. Catching the flu is the least of my concerns.

Perhaps it is best to mind your own business and tend to your life and important choices you must make instead of playing the judgemental Mother Goose in criticizing how other people choose to conduct their lives and make their choices they feel is best for them. You have no right to impose your fears/behavior/choices onto others thru intimidation or ridicule. If you believe the end of the world is coming tomorrow and want to hide in your basement... that’s YOUR problem and no one else’s.

Though I respect your opinion, I disagree with its shortsightedness. There is much more that drives critical thinking than fear, the evening news propaganda and the parade of fear-mongering partisan heath experts puking out their BS meant only to fuel the frenzy of disinformation and scripted lies that schemes to keep the economy suppressed. And I am not piling on Governor Abbot... I disagree with his rationale and reason for his decision. I see not a governor who is being careful, but more weak-kneed political posturing and done only for the benefit of political expediency. If in-fact he was being careful he would open the throttle and let nature take its course. God will sort it out at this point. You cannot hide from the virus. It will eventually infect you sooner or later. And no...things are not getting worse. The infection rate spike was expected. What is most important is the mortality rate has flattened and is reversed downward.

Indeed yes, I agree with you on your criticism of Governor Cuomo. Cuomo is a disgrace and self-serving jack-ass who is directly responsible for the deaths of thousands of senior citizens having forced COVID patients into nursing homes knowing seniors were most vulnerable. Governor Abbott a saint next to Cuomo.

Closing things back up based on faulty and fake info is not "wanting to do the best for his citizens". It's falling in line with the Left's scare tactics.
