Shootings are up 76 percent over where they were this time last year in Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s (D) Chicago.
NBC News reports not only the surge in shootings but also the fact that “nearly all the bloodshed concentrated in the city’s predominantly Black and brown communities on the South and West Sides.”
They note similar stories around the country.

Generally I agree with you. But these are not your normal times anymore. We need some normality (normalcy) restored. We need someone to show the way. It’s absolutely obscene that 80 people are shot every weekend in the country’s 3rd largest city. Of course it is the problem of the Chicago police and Chicago politicians but they have proven a long time ago they don’t give a crap about anything but themselves.
Yes, maybe some good volunteer soldiers will be harmed. That’s a risk. But only a fool is going to take potshots at the military and will be put down fast. Show IL how to do it and show the country that this “defund the police” nonsense is absurdity to the extreme. We need new police tactics, reforms in the judicial system but the line has to be drawn somewhere. Where better than Chicago? Cut the shootings down 90% and the country will see what idiocy the left is promoting.
I concede it may not work, it could backfire, and it could result in escalation of conflict and those in the neighborhood would view the guard as “occupiers”. But most of this is, imo, drug related. I wouldn’t have them act as any kind of law enforcement except to stop the shootings and pursue any gunfire.

How about this for an explanation: The racist BLM invaded Mexican neighborhoods and tried to burn down Mexican businesses. The Mexicans fought back.
IOW, this is a continuation of the race war between Mexicans and blacks that has been going on since 2001. It’s a story that has been avoided and ignored for two decades by the Nazi press.
The Nazi propagandists don’t want America to know that a race war has broken again - and gone hot - between two of the democrat demographics. They also don’t want America to know that Mexicans will vote for Trump because Mexicans hate democrats.
