And I still can’t deal with the fact that a fellow FReeper called it ‘racist’ if whites (or at least most whites) simply unify around a party which represents their interests (and in this country, it has to be the Republican Party, under Trump).
If we continue to DEMAND PERFECTION from our party, or sit out elections, or look at the Democrats as ‘not much different’ than the Republicans, then we deserve, and we will get, the same treatment as whites are now getting in South Africa - because, trust me, while we may be all comfy with our AC and BBQs tonight, there are, literally, 10s of MILLIONS of people, Americans, willing to do to us just what is being done in South Africa.
And we will DESERVE that fate.
any or every excuse to not support a pub....
you pick your candidates in the primary...
but then you support the pub, period....
not voting because you're mad, or they don't do everything your way, or maybe you don't vote at all...any excuse....
this is why from school boards to local judges on up....pubs just are silly voters....
