People who support prayer at school or government events seem to be selective about who they want delivering the prayer.
Well, sure. Of course they are selective.
Unless one is completely an adherent to relative morality (which most Leftists are) in which any one thing is completely equal to any one other thing, then...being selective makes sense.
But conservatives and most Freepers aren’t relativists, are we?
We believe that there IS a difference between good and evil, and that evil does exist...don’t we?
So, on a scale we could agree the God of Abraham is good, the God of Christendom is good and we might have reservations about Allah as a God, but we wouldn’t full on embrace true evil, would we?
So, sure. Various people might debate that an invocation on behalf of a Jewish vs. a Christian, vs. other God might be appropriate or not, but normal, grounded people don’t simply accept Satan as an equal, do we?
Wouldn’t that be a Leftist thing, to insist that Satan has equal footing in morality with the Jewish or Christian God?
Drawing moral equivalency between Good and evil has no place in Conservatism. You might be happier over at Liberaltarian Underground.
How is it prayer? She’s addressing a created being. And it’s not a religion no matter what delusions you have.
It’s like atheists blaming God for evil. Weak. Ridiculous. Lame.
