My guess is Cuomo’s hallucinations came from taking HCQ. Both my neighbor r and cousin took it on trips to Africa and reported very real hallucinations and dreams . Both my cousin’s safari guide and my neighbor’s business colleagues explained that their experiences were normal for HCQ.
Could be - and it it is I reckon it’s a test to see how we react and how transmissible it is.
It’s not so much a matter of luck as it is a matter of practicality.
The reality is there may never be a vaccine. It’s currently only speculation.
If I were able to choose to get it now, in the summer, when I’m healthy and active and can easily plan to take off work, and there aren’t even a handful of other cases in my county, it would be worth the risk.
Since odds are I’m going to get it eventually, the odds of waiting include the same risks plus the additional risk of getting it in the winter, possibly on top of the flu or another ailment that may weaken my response to it, and if it happens during an upswing in cases in my area I may not be able to access additional treatment if I have a more acute case. Plus the house will be closed up making it more likely to transmit to my wife than now when the windows are open all the time.
So yes, I’d 100% get it right now, today, if I had a choice in the matter, based on what we know today.
