Israel request to buy 990 million gallons of diesel, gasoline and jet fuel from United States
The Government of Israel has requested to buy approximately 990 million gallons of diesel, gasoline and jet fuel, the U.S. Defense Security Cooperation Agency said on Monday in an official notification to Congress.
According to a recent service notification, the State Department has made a determination approving a possible Foreign Military Sale to the Government of Israel of approximately 990 million gallons of Petroleum-based products for an estimated cost of $3 billion.
The proposed sale of the JP-8 aviation fuel will enable Israel to maintain operational aircraft. Diesel fuel and unleaded gasoline will be used for ground vehicles, said in a recent statement. The proposed sale will improve Israels ability to meet current and future threats in order to defend its borders.

Something’s up.
That’s a massive order.
Absolutely, order approved.
Now, if we could just get the IDF to actually pay for this stuff out of *their* pockets, I’d be much happier.
Per Jane’s, Congress still has to approve the sale...
What other cargo?

Oh heck, a non-signature credit card swipe should work!
It'll be interesting to see how the Demagogic Party jackholes in Congress react to this.
“”””Per Janes, Congress still has to approve the sale...”
They will make Israel get rid of white people and rename everything.
I pay cash at the pump.
Saves 8 cents per gallon.
Compute 8 cents times 990 million gallons . . . .
I would be really, really rich at .08 cents times 990 million gallons.
That really isnt much.
Figure the usage per piece per day.
Then they got to store that stuff. I imagine they have vast underground storage to do that.
As bad as this country is getting, imagine living there and having the worry of having a rocket hit you at any time.
Much like France, we can always count on Isreal to be there when they need us.
“”””Oh heck, a non-signature credit card swipe should work!””
Think of how many Rewards Points you would get with that.
I can’t think of any reason we should not sell to them.
Price of crude I hope.
It’s only 79,200,000 pre tax
Pffft!
Filling all the storage tanks available makes sense right now...with prices this low.
