Trump has been in the public spotlight for decades. No way is her statement true. Donald Trump's name was mentioned in over 78 rap song lyrics before his 2015 announcement to run for President, and not one mention was about race or misogyny or brutality. Most were along the lines of "wanna be like Trump".
Major rap artists would not be constantly invoking his name in a positive manner for over a decade if he was seen as someone hostile to blacks or women.
