Some, yes. But not me. I moved from Seattle to a hobby farm in rural KY in 2011. I bought the place two weeks before the 2009 election. Best move I ever made. Love it here.

I tell people I moved from a place where my vote didn’t count to a place where my vote doesn’t count, but for the opposite reason. :)

We used to say, Taxation without representation.

Now it’s become, Representation without taxation.

Where I live it’s a majority “minority” tax base. Most don’t work and pay taxes, but because of their numbers get the leftist politicians to cater to their every need. Meanwhile the working class, whose numbers are dwindling, have no voice.
