In the GNA=LNA struggle the USA is trying to play an Olympian, and rather stupid role. The EU has just met, and though everyone hates the LNA’s Haftar, the alternative means nothing but trouble for Europe for years to come. As for NATO, it is worthless in a fight occurring in its own back yard. Greece and France have broken with NATO, and Italy is on the fence. Look at it this way, if you support the LNA you can give Erdogan a bloody nose and further disrupt his economy. If you like that, go LNA. If not, support a man who is becoming increasingly and badly unpredictable.
