We need to point out to PETA that any destructive action against the human depictions on the mountain could lead to the endangerment of the equine depictions.

That was the scuttlebutt on the Facebook page of WJHL television station. One of those making a post about the t.v. station’s reporting said that they overheard the person who’s been calling himself the local leader of this New Panther group say that he’s from Chicago.
To my knowledge, there hasn’t been a protest in Kingsport or Hawkins County yet - or, if so, it hasn’t been reported by the local television stations.
Another hot spot for this group of New Panthers who’ve been stirring the pot in Southwest VA and NE TN would be to go to Cocke county in Tennessee (Newport, Del Rio, Cosby) area. I’m certain they’d get a less than welcoming committee in this area.
