I am in a Facebook argument with someone saying the original Israelites were black and those in Israel now are converts that stole their heritage... I countered with why is skin color more important than the beliefs?
Havent heard back
What is their evidence. The left seems to believe in the ‘if I say it three times then it is true’ mantra.
Great retort. Some follow up questions that aren’t as good as yours ... Does this mean white people “stole” black people’s religion? Oh ... and what does the Bible say about this?
You shouldn't hear back. Just zot them.
How come Judaism isn’t as big in Sub-Saharan Africa then? Did G-d shun the darker skinned Israelites and gave prominence to the ones that stole their religion? Just thinking out loud and taking the subject towards a conclusion.
That cult is more prevalent among American blacks than is readily acknowledged. It only entered the national conscious on a very small level when a couple of the "Black Israelites" were involved in a prominent murder caught on surveillance cameras.
What drives the 'Black Israelite' cult is similar to the 'Black Egyptian' cult. The former is the blasphemous appropriation of God's chosen people, and the latter is cultural appropriation of ancient Egypt because over thousands of years, sub-Saharan Africa achieved little to nothing in terms of noteworthy cultural achievements in architecture, engineering, the hard sciences, economics, trade, exploration, medicine, invention, literature, or government.
So they claim they are Egyptian kings, and their culture was "stolen" by white European devils.
You can take a picture of the mummy of Ramses II, with his red hair, and show it to a black Egyptian cult member. They will claim that black Egyptians had red hair, or that the picture is a fake, or that the mummy is a fake, or that whites are lying about the archeology, or that the mummification process turned his kinky black hair to straight red hair, or.....take your pick.
Reason doesn't work with them, or any hardcore leftist for that matter.
