Why hope for something that isn’t going to happen? The likelihood of Trump to get from his 2016(31.5%) numbers in CA to even getting what Bush got in 2004(44.4%) is practically nil. It is better for Trump to concentrate on the the battleground states.

I’ve been wondering if an upset in CA is mathematically possible. Is there some combination of turnout the could screw the Democrats?

For instance what would happen if the rural turnout doubled? What combination of rural anger and city complacency would throw it the other way? Is it even remotely possible?
