The road block now seems to be that the FDA that says HCQ should not be administered outside of a hospital setting. HCQ proponents say it should be administered early, so you don’t have to go to the hospital! Catch-22.
If the FDA road block were removed, doctors would have a choice to make. At least some doctors would prescribe HCQ.
Which doctors? Those doctors who have a better understanding. Doctors who have a greater motivation, with patients, relatives, or themselves in the early stage of infection. Those doctors who live in states that are less hostile to HCQ.
More prescriptions and more successes could lead to exponential growth in the use of HCQ.
