However, she responded to the backlash on Twitter by stating that she would not be silenced by people who did not understand analogies:

They’ve lived in a bubble where almost everyone did agree with them and they were taught that those who did disagree were either ignorant, crazy, evil/selfish or too stupid to be an enlightened liberal.
