So it seems !!
So it seems !!
Shamelessly patronizing garbage. If they are not going to play the national anthem, no way should they be singling out one race and pandering to them.
They are.
I gave-up the NFL ten years ago. I won’t ever watch that crap again.
Fat chance of that happening. There will still be a weekly NFL thread here on FR. “Get over it, man”.
I honestly don’t know what they feel they will gain from playing this song. Our National Anthem should always be played first. Maybe they can play this new song at half-time or the end of a game.
They are now the “BLMFL”.
I find fault with anything that undermines this nation I love so dearly and voluntarily served in the U.S. Navy to support and defend.
The black national anthem and Juneteenth.
All grown up and never heard a word about either of these until this year.
File them with kwanzaa and keep moving I guess.
Gosh, I wonder what they will do to recognize victims of your garden variety non-police brutality, which is, you know, the vast majority of brutality. 🤔
Maybe The Marseillaise
Maybe they can play this new song at half-time or the end of a game.
How about put speakers near the urinals and play it at half time.
Wait...ONLY black victims of police "brutality"?
I agree....Are we supposed to give up being white and take a knee?
“Lift every voice and sing” is not a bad song. It makes no mention of Black, but mentions “white” in a positive context (line 20) and mentions God a few times.
I’m sure if we all stood up and sang it, the left wing would soon disown it and quit calling it the “black national anthem”.
HBCUs (Historically black colleges and universities) play it before their sporting events and before the National Anthem if they even play that anymore.
Hmmmm, sounds discriminatory toward Asian, Native American, Hispanic and multiracial players. No “national anthem” for them?
Is there a nation, Black?
