Hmm, what about when the Catholic church annexed land in “Palestine” during the Crusades? Was that wrong too?

I don’t think the Catholic Church annexed any land in the Holy Land during the Crusades, unless perhaps some church buildings. The Crusader states were feudal entities set up by “Franks” from Western Europe...secular rulers.
