The Germans were good at waging wars. Just not winning them. Certainly not against us.
One could call the European wars from 1870 onwards the Wars of German Aggression. There were three major wars, 1870 against France, creating the German empire, 1914, it’s high point, and 1939, a continuation and death throes.
