Yes, I know about the HCQ+ treatment. They think that's why some countries whose populations are treated for malaria don't have a high incidence of this virus. We're not candidates due to heart conditions we're told.

I did ask my hair dresser to put on a mask to cut my hair but she had already shampooed my hair before I asked her to. (My head back, her working/talking standing over me). Stupid, I agree. Hopefully MY mask saved me if masks even work. We'll see.

I hope I did not sound like I thought you were “stupid” regarding the hair dresser. Just that we should all be free to make choices.

Some seem to think there is a way to justify forced lock downs, mandatory masks, etc as being a sorta twisted version of guaranteed freedom-from-infection. Analogous to snowflakes wanting a false freedom from offense or even disagreement.

True freedoms don’t require costs or actions from others, nor restrictions on their freedoms. So, if anything, these folks would need to argue for a new entitlement, though I personally would vote against it.

If we respect the freedom of association and respect private ownership, then most everybody should be able to find/stay in lower-risk / masked / whatever environments, for example, if that is their choice and if that is the free choice of enough others.

To Freedom, it does not matter one wit what the top-down tyrants like Dr F might THINK is best for all - and he’s wrong most of the time anyway. The private market will provide what people actually want - regardless what is theoretically ‘best’.

If we have decided that government should force everybody to do all possible to avoid all avoidable viruses - by law. Then we might as well start rounding up gay people right now.

Also, you probably know more than me already, but it might be worth asking about HCQ vs Chloroquine. The latter was more associated with side effects including related to the heart. And much of the scare info out there purposely is referring to that long outdated usage. HCQ is generally considered much safer. Dr Z, for one, claims virtually no bad side effects in well over 2000 patients.
