The thing is, it's not just a case of living or dying if you get it.

Some people who survive end up with scarred lungs (fibrosis), amputated fingers and toes, and damaged hearts even though they're young. Long term damage is just now becoming apparent.

I don't look at it as a loss of freedom or being "controlled". I think it's just common sense trying my best not to get it as it'll likely mean death if I were to get a full viral load. And if I get it and pass it to my husband he'll almost certainly die considering his age and pre-existing conditions.

My hairdresser (no mask) exposed me last week and we're awaiting test results as we speak.

Matters not to me if you do or do not try to avoid the virus, just please stay away from people you could possibly kill.

"My hairdresser (no mask) exposed me..."

In other words, "I do consider myself vulnerable but decided my hairdo was more vulnerable so I had it done by someone not wearing the mask - which probably would not have helped in that relatively long-term, in-close scenario anyway."

I wish you well, but don't agree with your logic.

Have you considered the Dr Z protocol? It has worked for old and young, existing conditions, etc. Because it can very cheaply prevent you from getting sick instead of trying to rescue you and other vulnerable from your expected worse-than-most sickness if you catch the bug.

If Trump was a Democrat, they'd be putting statues of him on all the empty pedestals right now for being a hero and PERSONALLY testing the falsely-called 'untested' drugs for all to see.

Obviously, the govt is not on our side in this in many ways and maybe you don't have easy access to HCQ+ protocol. If so, your complaint should be against the authorities which are preventing you from cheap safety while also preventing the vast, vast majority from developing herd immunity the way God's nature is designed.

People it could possibly kill? Like my older brother with two different cancers, pancreatitis, gastritis, bad lungs, regular heart attacks, and constant shortness of breath at 46 years of age? He still refuses to wear a mask, and has accepted death. He told all of us he will not wear a mask because our family has fought and killed and died in too many wars to die on our knees like defeated slaves. Better to die upholding the free will of not wearing a sheeple mask.

WE. WILL. ALL. BE. INFECTED.

If someone is susceptible to death due to covid, wear a mask. I don’t care. Just know that they will eventually catch it and will likely die. There is no escape. Get straight with God if you haven’t already is my advice.

All I ever see around here anymore is people telling themselves the younger generation, millennials like myself don’t care for freedom, a bunch of cowardly pansies, socialists, etc, and then when I stand up to the “new normal” of this socialism shit sandwich, I’m killing people. From the same people who say freedom is worth dying for.

I PRACTICE WHAT I PREACH.

I always looked up to this site, and to freepers when I was a kid and my mother, God rest her soul, was an active member of free republic. I always valued the patriotism and resistance to the encroaching communism, and the educated people found here. That said, the older I get the more I see a lot of people paying lip service. They fry people who think like I do. Freedom is great until it endangers them, then they demand people to wear a mask! I’m not talking about anyone on this particular thread, but it happens.

Sorry about the rant. All the bad news lately is just a serious downer and I’m pissed about current events.

Jesus Christ I need a drink.
