Since I can’t walk around naked, the whole “I have the freedom to not wear stuff” thing sailed a long time ago.

I wear a mask because it makes other people comfortable, much the same reason I wear a shirt on the beach, to make other people comfortable. (well, and to avoid sunburn).

I don’t care if I get the virus, but I’m not trying to because it would be an inconvenience to have to sit out two weeks of work when I only have one week of sick leave.

I look at it as "if you want to wear a mask, great. I'm not telling you not to.

I choose to not wear a mask. Please grant me the same courtesy."
