Richmond Mayor Levar Stoney (above) ordered all Confederate statues be removed from city land. Stoney said the decree in the onetime capital of the Confederacy is long overdue. Those statues stood high for over 100 years for a reason, and it was to intimidate and to show black and brown people in this city who was in charge, the mayor said.
What he's saying is, "WE are in charge now, and we are making up the rules and RE-defining history to suit US!
How long before the majority realizes that letting liberals and angry minorities dictate & RE-define what our purposes for honoring our ancestors were -- is not an acceptable scenario...?

Dear Mayor Stoney,
PITY that you are so IGNORANT & FILLED WITH UNREASONNG HATE that you do NOT know (OR are ignoring) that the statues on Monument Ave & the land on which they stand/stood is PRIVATELY OWNED & FOREVER will be PRIVATE PROPERTY.
You have, once more, made a JACKASS of yourself.- I hope that the Registered Agents of the owners will SUE you & the City of Richmond into bankruptcy/poverty.
(It would be WISE for you to consult former Governor Douglas Wilder about this subject, before you “bite off more than you can chew”, as he KNOWS the TRUTH.)
Yours, TMN78247
I’ll say what shouldn’t but must be said. This man should be hung in the center of the town for all to see.
Not for his color, but for his treachery and as an example to all.
