Someone came up with the stupid notion that you need to “have power over” another race in order to be a racist.
SOME black people have used it to say “it’s impossible for me to be racist”, and then go on to say the most hateful racist things
It’s not entirely crazy ... if an alcoholic is on an island with No Rum, he’s just as not drunk as the teetotaler. Having a biased opinion one doesn’t or can’t act out is bigotry (if not supported by facts, which further muddles things as the left is at war with objective truth intentionally). A bias based on fact is merely discretion; most of us don’t put our hands on hot stoves.
Ironically they’re admitting the whole purpose of punitive law enforcement. If X proves he’s a criminal, we put X into jail so that he no longer has the capacity to commit crime.
The lie comes after: they claim only “whiteness” has power when in fact leftists hold the reins in academia, journalism, tech, and elsewhere and demonstrate an unbridled joy in abusing their power in racist fashion.
It was a while back now but IIRC Jesse Jackson or perhaps Sharpton made that contribution to the “conversation”.
