President Donald Trump's campaign has scrapped plans to hold a rally in Alabama next weekend amid concerns about coronavirus infections rising in the US, CNN has learned.
Trump was slated to travel to the state ahead of the Senate race between his former attorney general Jeff Sessions and the former Auburn University football coach Tommy Tuberville, but plans were called off as state officials voiced concerns about a mass gathering and campaign officials ultimately decided against it. A person close to the campaign said there are currently no rallies on the horizon, but aides are scoping out possible venues for when they decide to host them again.

Kaitlan Collins is one slimy anti-Trump beeyotch...
This race is close and Trump does not want to be embarrassed if Sessions pulls it out.
Trump once again helping to feed the fear of this hoax! Coronavirus is Trump’s Achilles heel.

The race is not that close & Sessions will soon be off into the sunset. The Trump campaign is wise to cancel this so as to not give the RATS and their media allies ammunition.
So, I guess Trump should cancel other rallies so he doesn’t make the Fake News and Democrats mad at us. This is the strategy of Mitt Romney!
Sessions is a traitor and the sooner he is again fired, the better. I think everyone knows where Trump stands on this so no point going, plus the whole Coronovirus thing is an unnecessary distraction to the campaign.
There is nothing wrong with the word “bitch.” It refers to a female dog.
Nope, Tuberville doesnt need further Trump help at this point and Alabama is safe for Trump in November.
I’m just wondering why Trump is not hammering home the fact that the reason covid infections are up is because testing has increased, and hospitalizations and deaths are way way down! He knows this, but isn’t speaking much about it! Unless I missed it, did he countermand Fauci’s ridiculous assertions today?
He tweets about everything else, but he’s scared sh*tless to discuss that deaths and hospitalizations are way down! I’m not convinced he won’t agree to a second shutdown with his meekness on the topic of COVID.

Well yes of course it is, it single handedly wiped out his entire booming economy.
Overnight.
It is still being pushed to stop it from rebounding.
So this is what this site has become?
Cheap snide bashing comments directed at Trump.
Your comment offers nothing that Trapper on CNN couldn’t give us.
The difference will be there is still a bunch of us voting for president Trump.
I think it might be to late to switch out Biden, I'll admit I didn't think they'd run him but watch Biden is as dumb as they come.
Historic cataclysm that are out of president Trump control and he is within the margin of error at the end of June.
Things will get better Biden is Biden - this whole period of time, by November doesn't work out well for the left, before long they'll be telling you this isn't the second wave or the third wave will be November.
There will be but lies and lockdown lead to independent thinking - people of all groups are voting differently only the none thinking are totally locked up. And then you have Biden what him totally blow a gift election, its like he can't help himself - its what not having a working brain organ does to a pompous ass. No way they can have him debate. President Trump should say tomorrow there should be no debates - to ensure the media wants them.
I think in some cases quarantine merely delayed the spread of the virus. Michigan had it real bad, but seems to be on the other side of the bell shaped curve. Testing is in high gear, but our positives are running consistently at 2 and a half percent. Other places didn’t suffer as much, but those are the places that are having outbreaks now.
