There's no point getting frustrated or angry or wondering what anyone has on Roberts - this is just who he is. Roberts will serve on the court another 15-20 years, and joins the 4 liberals in a solid liberal majority. The only hope is for one of the liberals (such as the aging Ruth Bader Ginsburg) to vacate a seat so a Republican president can appoint a conservative to provide a majority.

Vote Trump, and hope he is done with the Federalist Society and their BS. No more "judicial restraint" and "textualists" - we need strong right-wing activists appointed to the bench, not some cipher who will betray us yet again.

I think the Federalist Society approach is reasonable when dealing with a large number of lower court appointments, but the Supreme Court is another matter. The Right can’t afford to get it wrong with the Supreme Court because the Left hasn’t had an unreliable justice on the bench since Byron White stepped down in 1993.
