You said in your first response that any hospitalization period is considered a Covid case. That’s wrong or a lie, which is it? You just quoted again where it says covid-positive cases.

So a young person breaking an ankle with NO symptoms of COVID-19 - No Fever, No Cough, just a positive COVID-19 test is listed and the teenager is listed as a COVID-19 HOSPITALIZATION!!!!????

The implication of “a COVID-19 hospitalization” is that the patient was hospitalized BECAUSE of COVID-19.

If you go in for an unrelated malady (heart problems, car accident, what have you,...) and you test positive for CV19 you are counted as a COVID-19 hospitalization.
