If it weren’t for the language barrier, Poland would seem nice.
Actually in the big cities, not a problem, I got around in Warsaw and Krakow just fine, knowing just real basic Polish.
But you shouldn’t have too much trouble even if you don’t speak Polish in the cities.
The city I like is Gdansk..The Birthplace of Solidarity!
