Attorney Drew Findling, who is representing White, said he had been in contact since Sunday with the Fulton District Attorney’s Office to make arrangements for White to surrender.

Never mind. Found my own answers from reading the article.

“Good things happen when great law enforcement officers coordinate their efforts and work together to apprehend dangerous suspects who pose a threat to our communities,” the Gwinnett Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
Tooting their horn too loudly, IMO. The cops had nothing to do with finding her.
Basically, she turned herself in through her attorney. All they did was show up and arrest (apprehend) her.

Well, didn’t they name her as the suspect? If they hadn’t done that, I’m pretty sure she wouldn’t have turned herself in.
