And how many protesters were there? If there were only a few dozen or hundred, then they achieved a propaganda victory by the Trump people Not holding a rally outside.
However, 19,000 or so, even allowing for “social distancing” cuts in attendance, were impressive and you could certainly see it in the very poor camera work inside and outside.
I’ve attended enough protests as a reporter to know how to count a crowd with some good degree of accuracy (example to follow), but I also know how the mainstream media can “fudge” photographic coverage.
I was at the Million Man March of Louis Farrakhan (I even have my march button sitting on a self behind me), 1995 or so. I walked around the Mall and did some head-counts and empty space measuring (by taking 3 foot steps - size 12 shoes).
There were no Million Men there. Possibly 10,00-25,000 at the most, minus those on the MutherShip Louie was waiting for to take him away. Missed him by “that much”. He could have been the first man on Mars.
Don’t believe half of what you see or much of what a reporter tells you if they are from the MSM/MSNBC/CNN.
