It's a different mindset when you're DC centric. Words like honor, courage, and integrity are just words in DC.

I never cared a whit about Jefferson Davis, but that's not the point. This headlong rush to whitewash our history is no different than what the Taliban were doing just a few years ago.

My family originates in West (by GOD) Virginia and Illinois, we spent the Civil War killing as many of those Piedmont members of our family as we could.

The Illinois part of the family (mom’s) didn’t have a real personal stake in the War Of Northern Aggression, but all of us from West (by GOD) Virginia sure as hell did.

Lots of Cousins, Uncles, Brothers, etc down there in eastern Virginia; for us it was personal.

Regardless of which side of the battle line a man was on; we still need to recognize their Honor, Bravery, Dedication, and Integrity to their States and their cause.

Right or Wrong; These men were all AMERICANS.
