The French National Consultative Commission for Human Rights (CNCDH) has released a report claiming French people need to “decolonise” their minds to end discrimination against black people.
The Commission handed the report to French prime minister Edouard Philippe earlier this week and included a list of recommendations to combat racism, xenophobia, and discrimination.
The report claims that France’s black community and Jewish community have the “best image” in the minds of the general public in France. But, paradoxically, it also said black people are “exposed daily to offensive prejudices and discrimination”.

Years ago, the black female quartet En Vogue released a single called “Free Your Mind”, basically about how black women are mistreated and distrusted when shopping for clothes. However, in their music video they were wearing rather outlandish costumes with equally odd hairstyles and makeup.
Well, some young black woman was inspired by this, so she also dressed in garish costume before going to an upscale clothing store, to sneer at others while using lyrics from the song.
At the same time a wealthy cattle rancher, who looked the part but was well known to the store, as he liked to escort his daughter there, was there and unabashedly stared at the young black woman.
“Are you staring at me because I am a woman of color?,” she asked with a sneer.
“Nope,” he replied, “It’s ‘cause you look like a space aillieen who just walked off an oou-fow!”
It’s code for taking down civilization even though it sounds like they have to fumigate something.
Catchy slogan solutions that are only a solution to the loss of attention to the screamer of the slogan. Unattached from reality of the supposed problem.
