Police from surrounding counties are not allowed (by law) to go in to help unless they’ve been invited by the mayor of Atlanta.
So this lands in the mayors lap when all is said and done.
Can’t help but recall Obama along with Ralm Emmanuel and his AG organizing the mayors as a political front during his term. Couple of us here put up warning lights about this. Now we see how it’s working across the nation.
