I am furious at what he did to this officer today. It made me sick to my stomach and it has not gotten better since.
It is wrong. The officer’s actions appear to be justified based on what we know, but there should (and will be) a full investigation as normal. We know for a fact that the investigation was not completed by GBI who was not consulted prior to the DA’s press conference.
I understand better than most here how the officers feel today. All of the officers regardless of what color - they are blue. This is their city, but I suspect many of them feel quite hopeless in that they are not supported by their bosses, the DA, the mayor, and much of the public. I know they feel betrayed and it is justified. People can only take so much before they throw in the towel.
However, I truly pray this is not happening. If it is, this might be a night/week we all remember for the rest of our lives. I shudder at the thought of any big city without the police.
And the media time and again supports the criminals.

Officer Brosnan’s attorney said that the DA, Paul Howard, was not telling the truth when he suggested that Brosman had turned states evidence and was testifying.
Brosnan’s attorney said he is not guilty, will not be pleading guilty, and has not agreed to be a state Witness.
