The stupidity of people can be mind boggling. Of course with more testing more cases will show up, but many will never have gotten very sick or not sick at all. The second wave will be when the hospitals start to fill up again. Of course, there has not been a major effect from the demonstrations and openings, incubation runs for up to 2 weeks, then mild illness which often gets progressively worse, and finally hospital and ER visits. We will see around the 4th of July what the true impact is headed for.

After postponing for up to three months, people are beginning to go to hospitals for tests and procedures. Some of these people are testing positive for the C virus antibodies. They are being counted as new hospitalized cases of coronavirus. They are not sick because of the coronavirus and they are not in the hospital because they have coronavirus.

The CDC guidelines have been stretched to list coronavirus for many deaths of people who were only suspected of having it, never having been tested at all.

Yup. Contact tracing will find asymptomatic people, test them and find positives. These are the type of people who would not have showed up in the counts of previous weeks because we weren't doing contact tracing.

Contact tracing is being done a lot now. I know three asymptomatic people in Florida who have been flagged this week for COVID.

The increase in cases we are seeing this week is likely due to contact tracing, the targeted testing of migrant workers, factory workers or just Floridians going to a restaurant to enjoy a good meal.
