Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) headlined a high-dollar fundraiser for Joe Biden (D) on Monday, helping the Democrat Party’s presumptive nominee rake in his campaign’s biggest haul yet — $6 million from a virtual event with just 620 people in attendance.
Monday’s Zoom fundraiser featuring Biden’s former rival was wildly successful, raising $6 million for the Biden Victory Fund, the joint fundraising operation between Biden’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC).
“Thank you for asking your friends to help me out,” Biden told Warren during the event. “It’s the biggest fundraiser we’ve ever had. And it’s all because of you.”
