None of these kids would ever fight for the country. In fact, while all this is going on, the Chinese are making their moves and no one cares. If China walked into the US today with an army that vastly overwhelms the USA in sheer numbers alone, the majority of those protesting and their supporters would look up from their phones, shrug and go back to texting.

The irony of that statement is that a remake of "Red Dawn" was made a few years back with Chinese taking the place of Russian/Cuban soldiers, and the once Colossus of Hollywood -- now spineless, cowardly Hollywood -- backed down and made them, hysterically, North Koreans.

When I was 17 I couldn’t wait to join the Army. Not war crazy. But felt it was my duty to the country to prepare and be ready to defend if the need arised.
