He’s just an @sshole who was smart enough to realize that he could have a more lucrative career as a professional malcontent than as a professionally quarterback.
I suppose I was thinking of these malcontents in general, and not Kapernick, but Drew Brees’ turnaround suggests that indeed the kneelers have won, and are demanding everybody on the team fall into line.

Don’t bet on that. Word around the NFL is that over the last few years he has gone out of his way to sabotage every one of his opportunities to play again — like in Baltimore a couple of years ago, the multi-team workout a few months back, etc. — because he has no interest in playing football anymore.
Oh, I’d bet on it. Everything has changed now after Floyd 19. What better way for the billionaire white NFL owners to virtue signal their wokeness than to sign Kaepernick and put him on the 50 yard line? They’ll offer him whatever it takes and he will be in the NFL next year.
