Imagine an honest, truthful and logical “racial discussion” with blacks...I cannot.
I wonder if Don Lemon honestly checked in to find out if slavery existed in his beloved Africa. Or if Native Americans, Apaches, Kiowas and Comanches ever enslaved, or the Aztecs... YEP, we ALL have sinned even Don Lemon. We have all blood on our hands and we need to forigve each other his debts...if we forgive we will be forgiven.. Or at least that was what Jesus taught us in the Lord’s Prayer. My German ancestors signed INDENTURED SLAVE papers for 14 years, to cross the Atlantic. I wonder if Don Lemon might find a better life... Ghana says they are opening up their arms and there is no racism there.

Growing up in the ‘Deep South’ in Louisiana, oppressed in high school (was voted class President), prevented from getting an education (went to LSU, then Brooklyn College - earning a degree in broadcast journalism), discriminated against in the job market (hired by Fox News - working for them in St. Louis and Chicago, then hired by NBC, then hired by CNN and made an anchor), kept from earning a good wage (salary almost $2 million/year, net worth >$10 million), kept from living in a nice safe environment (lives in Sag Harbor, paid $3.1 million for his home).
It’s just horrible for you living in this hateful racist country.
So is that to say that *all* Americans are racist...the white ones,the black ones,the brown ones *and* the yellow ones???

Please list the other countries in the world where black people are better off than in the United States.
I can name a few where they are worse off, starting with all of Africa, all of South America, all of Asia. Maybe there is a country in Europe where they are better off, but I cannot think of one yet.

OK,maybe there'd be clubs I couldn't join and neighborhoods I couldn't live in.But there'd be plenty that I could join or live in...and very nice ones at that.

He forgot one prominent example that is part of systemic racism. Ever since Chess problems began to be printed for chess aficionados, the only solution is White always wins.
Clearly this is systemic racism promulgated by outlets like the NYT as a unfeeling white privilege. We must change.
From now on chess pieces should never include white pieces, only black pieces as part of a debt of black suppression and oppression for hundreds of years. Arab countries especially owe a collective guilt debt for establishing the white black pieces in confrontation.
All ethnic and nationality groups faced discrimination and hostility in the US.
(and in all countries. China, Japan and North Korea do not allow any rights to other races except to be subservient. They do not allow wide open immigration and do not support other religions to rival theirs.
US in 1870s-1950s: Italians vs. Irish for jobs and to become office holders and police. Some places would not hire Catholics. Jews were excluded by "restrictions" and "gentlemen's agreement" and quotas to limit them from colleges, house buying and club memberships. Catholic Knights of Columbus at odds with Masons and trying to keep each other out of businesses and professions. And many more.
Thus, blacks now feeling sorry for themselves, after this amount of US federal money since 1964 for programs to benefit them:
$27 trillion (in adjusted 2020 dollars) is absurd.
They have laws and court rulings to protect them and affirmative action threats and enforcement in all fields of endeavor. No other group had that!
”African”-Americans would be lost if the actually moved to Africa. Reality would be a cold, hard slap in the face as their protected-class status would come to an abrupt end.
Oh.. and my black co-worker and good friend told me with disgust how our black manager told her she was getting too friendly with me.
Another issue, we affix the single word "racism" to each and every instance of racial conflict, separation or misunderstanding. . .it's all RACISM. We have more words to define degrees of severity when a human kills another human than we do for those MANY issues that are barriers to positive race relations.They are all categorized by the single word, "racism." No wonder we can't communicate and, thus, false narratives about "systemic racism" take hold.

I’ve been mugged / robbed twice by (young) black men. I’ve been threatened with violence by (young) black men, with no cause whatsoever, at malls, parks, and at concerts.
I wish that racism against me would stop.
