Totally agree. I recall Mussolini admiring Stalin. In fact we all remember (the left wants to forget) the Nazis and Bolshevists were in alliance, and the US press was cheering about it.

It was after the betrayal by Hitler than the narrative got changed.

Yes, the Comintern from Stalin sent out the word.... support the Allies, now that Russia was desperate for help against the Nazis. Truth-— the number of General Motors trucks sent to Soviets-— huge, and the only means they had to get their troops around— they did not have the ability to make them to counter the Nazis.
