John Quncy Adams wrote: “I am apt to believe that it (Independence Day) will be celebrated, by succeeding Generations, as the great anniversary Festival…It ought to be solemnized with Pomp and Parade, with Shews, Games, Sports, Guns, Bells, Bonfires and Illuminations from one End of this Continent to the other from this Time forward forever more.”
Now Gavin Newsom closes the beaches for the 4th of July, and we can’t celebrate of our Independence Day!? After all the very noble and brave BLM riots, CHAZ, LGBTQRR++ Pride marches where no one safely distanced themselves? Very convenient timing.
It’s as if they planned all along to deny us our American heritage.
