President Donald Trump has so far received over 140,000 more votes in the Georgia primary than former Vice President Joe Biden.
With 70 percent of the precincts reporting for the GOP, Trump has gained 698,825 votes, compared with 552,253 for Biden, with 63 percent of precincts reporting for the Democrats, according to NBC News data.
Trump also received more votes than all of the Democratic candidates combined, including Senator Bernie Sanders, who received over 67,000 votes, and Senator Elizabeth Warren, who received nearly 12,000, as well as candidates who dropped out of the race months ago.
The president also outperformed former President Barack Obama's vote totals from the 2012 Georgia primary. Obama was running unopposed in the state and got 139,273 votes, over 500,000 fewer votes than Trump has received thus far.
Trump has been able to drive up voter turnout, resulting in his getting more votes than Obama did, multiple times already during this primary season. In the Iowa caucuses, Trump got over 30,000 more votes than Obama did in 2012. In New Hampshire, Trump got nearly 130,000 votes, more than twice as many as the former president received in 2012.

Oh my.
Was there a vote for the Republican Senate?
He should get 100,000,000 to 0.
I’m not sure.
Dont get overconfident. The primaries are meaningless at this point so no one is bothering to participate. The feature picture is on Election Day.
Voter energy matters.
The dems are still trying to figure out how to vote from the safety of their basements.
Voter energy always matters..especially hearing all the commies say “Go out and have your voices heard, go vote” and Republicans usually dont bother showing up in the primary yet more people voted for Trump than ALL Dem candidates combined, that says a lot and hopefully that means there is a silent majority out there that is terrified of what might happen if the commies take control in November
“The primaries are meaningless at this point so no one is bothering to participate. The feature picture is on Election Day.”
I don’t think you get it. Of course those who voted for Trump in GA knew it was meaningless but the point made is they DID take the time out to go and vote for him while Biden had others on the ballot and still never came close to Trump.
It’s all about enthusiasm and which ever candidate has the most enthusiastic voters will presumably in.
With 79 Percent in TRUMP still leads by 20,000 votes. ( almost all of Dekalb is in)

he lead shrunk to 20k????

Agree on not getting complacent, we have to turn out, but the numbers in the primaries were a very good indicator of how the actual election would go.
are you talking Trump’s number vs all the dems combined?
Two of them. They thought we got more votes in Pennsylvania as well until we didnt. The mail ins are still coming in.
Although this is a primary, it is an indication of a really big “enthusiasm” gap for Biden. Enthusiasm is clearly on Trump’s side. Let’s hope that equals just a fraction of the votes he’ll receive in November.
And it’s not even a contested primary (Presidential at least) on the Republican side. People are bothering to go out to vote for the obvious winner to show support.
Senator Purdue, like Trump, was unopposed. I’m not sure if there was anything else on the ballot to drive more Republicans to the polls than Dems. Hopefully it’s indicative of a large enthusiasm gap that will translate to a good night for us in November.
