So sadly true. Watch how the Democrats conduct themselves. It's the same whether they're in the majority or the minority—they're out there making statements, introducing bills, protecting each other, and generally acting like they own the joint. Republicans in the majority generally hide under their desks and puddle the floor when they cannot hide from an issue.
This President has done neither for almost four years despite constant criticism and loathing from the other side along with too many RINOs, and his reward is still people on our side wringing their hands over something he said. They need to be wringing them against the guys who keep leaving him flying solo as you put it so well. Instead, the handwringers just keep worrying that Donald Trump, who has stood so tall in calling out those bastards from Antifa at Charlottesville (one of the main reasons the left hates him so much because he exposed them), and stood so tall in telling Europe their freeloading days are over, and just last week stood so tall in having a path cleared to an attacked church to say, "Enough!" is going too far.
