Trump will pass. I’ve been here since 2005. I was libertarian then, I’m libertarian now, and I’ll still be libertarian after Trump is gone. This forum always goes through phases of a cult of personality whenever a conservative is in office, and in 15 yrs I’m sure future freepers will talk about Trump’s authoritarianism like we talk about Bushes neocon failures.
The way things are headed after Trump you Libertarians will be joining the rest of us in the gulags.

I hope that’s the case. Seems like when the younger Bush was in office we could have reasonable debates about his policies here on FR. With Trump, there is a group of folks that worship everythimg he says or does and allow no room for debate.
