The article ignores the real issue which is the politicization of “science.”

About the same time that citing unnamed “people familiar with the situation” or “familiar with X’s thinking” became acceptable news sources.

In cases like this the journal (Lancet) should release the names of the reviewers too.

The two articles from the Guardian mesh nicely.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/jun/03/covid-19-surgisphere-who-world-health-organization-hydroxychloroquine

Also here on FR.

“A search of publicly available material suggests several of Surgisphere’s employees have little or no data or scientific background. An employee listed as a science editor appears to be a science fiction author and fantasy artist whose professional profile suggests writing is her fulltime job. Another employee listed as a marketing executive is an adult model and events hostess, who also acts in videos for organisations.”

Just as COVID-19 or the other yearly flus infect the body, so, too, do the various mental malwares infect the mind and spirit.

For whatever reasons, some groups of us are always more susceptible to the latest yearly flu, including OVID-19, than the rest of us are.

And, for whatever reasons, so, too, are some of us more susceptible to the various mental malwares, especially the current marxist strains of metal malware, than the rest of us are.

For those most vulnerable, the marxist malwares are sneaky, irresistible and deadly.

The most susceptible are generally good-hearted people who fall to them like hapless prey easily taken by predators “hiding in plain sight”.

IF they survive the encounter, those who recover have a “once bitten, twice shy” immunity to almost all of the Marx madness viruses.

Studies that hypocrite politicians like Trudeau rely on to raise taxes. "

WHO benefits? China? Democrats?

NO.. the reason to get rid of HCQ is what we are seeing. With HCQ, there was no reason for the lockdown, (well there wasn’t anyway) but if you could take $20 worth of pills and get better, no hosptials, no waves of death and no shutdown. And, these riots are all about extending the shutdown when the governors were being forced to reopen. And, the defund the police is to keep the situation of rioting going for months.

How? Because Trump said that the drug held promise therefore we needed to discredit it. Very simple.

Hmmm....surely The Lancet sent the manuscript out for peer review prior to publication. The idea of an author (not the journal) sending a manuscript out for peer review after publication is strange to say the least.

I suppose the authors are trying to save face.
