Biden: 'Despicable' for Trump to put words in George Floyd's mouth

When the economic news was reported this morning they said that the black unemployment rate was unchanged, not that it had risen.

Here’s what Trump said during today’s bill signing ceremony after talking about latest jobs report, which was much better than expected.

“We all saw what happened last week. We can’t let that happen. Hopefully George is looking down and saying this is a great thing that’s happening for our country. (It’s) a great day for him. It’s a great day for everybody. This is a great, great day in terms of equality.”

It was foolish for him to bring up the tragedy of what happened to George Floyd in the context of celebrating good economic news. It’s obviously not a great day for Floyd, who is dead. Nor should Trump have seemed to speak for George Floyd. That cannot gain him any approval from any side. I don’t understand why he seems to be deliberately stirring up anger. Does he not want to win in November?
