Former Vice President Joe Biden tore into President Trump for saying economic gains reported Friday marked a "great day for equality" and a "great day" for George Floyd, an unarmed black man who was killed in police custody in Minneapolis.
“George Floyd’s last words — ‘I can’t breathe, I can’t breathe’ — have echoed across our nation,” Biden said in a speech Friday, referring to bystander video that went viral showing Floyd being pinned down by his neck before he died. “For the president to try to put any other words in the mouth of George Floyd — is frankly despicable.
“And, the fact that he did so on a day when black unemployment rose and black youth unemployment skyrocketed — tells you everything you need to know about who this man is and what he cares about.”

As for the Afro-Jamaican, what the hell does she know about our country’s history of race. Slavery was ended peacefully in her country. Not by a civil war. Has someone told Biden that Floyd was killed by a Minneapolis, MN policeman and that Minneapolis has been governed by Democrats for decades? MN has a democrat governor, democrat Senators, the Minneapolis City Council is all democrat save one Greenie. So the death at the hands (knee) of a Minneapolis policeman is somehow on Trump and the Republicans?

At least he was quotes accurately. I realize Trump felt the need to work Floyd in there somewhere but his comment didn't make a lot of sense. And I think using Floyd too much will come back to bite both campaigns.
But apparently it wasn’t despicable for Biden to use his words as a fundraising opportunity.
